About
Veteran Retreat was created by Marines to support the Marines we served alongside. After years apart, we saw the need for more than a group chat or quick catch-up. We needed time — in-person, uninterrupted — to breathe, talk, and be around those who share the same history.
We’re raising funds to cover every part of that experience — from travel and lodging to meals and gear — so the Marines in our unit can come together again without worrying about cost. This isn’t a brand or a campaign. It’s a mission to take care of our own.

On May 27, 2025, Veteran Retreat was created with one simple goal — to bring our unit back together, one retreat at a time. After years apart and silent struggles behind us, we realized that time, distance, and life after the Marine Corps had pulled us in different directions. We hadn’t shared the same space since our last deployment. No check-in. No chance to exhale. Just texts and memories.
So we started a page — not to build a brand, but to rebuild something real.
What began as a few posts quickly became something deeper. Marines from our unit started reaching out. The idea of one retreat — just us, no fluff — started to resonate. A place to talk, laugh, and just exist among people who get it. That’s when the mission came into focus.
Veteran Retreat isn’t about programs or politics. It’s about Marines showing up for each other — again. This isn’t charity. It’s accountability, tradition, and taking care of our own. One retreat at a time.
The Veteran Retreat was born.
